SIRIUS RADIO

Wow...it's been a while. :-)

My birthday is tomorrow and my AWESOME, LOVELY, BEAUTIFUL and very pregnant with our first child wife got me the most awesome present ever! (besides the beautiful baby girl we'll be having soon). :-)

SIRIUS RADIO! or for you Stern fans out there, I picked up "Eh-eh-eh" Radio.

In my best Butt-Head impression, I have to say "this is the coolest thing I have ever seen".

I have spent most of the day messing around with it. Of course, one of the main reasons I wanted to pick it up was to follow Stern from terrestrial radio into the promise land of satellite radio. I also wanted to contribute to the severe money loss that Clear Channel and all their FCC fining cronies (yes, you Congressman Sensenbrenner and Senator Brownback).

This is like the Burger King of radio...have it your way. I get my beloved 80's channel and there's even a Hair Band channel. You have to love that. I also get sports updates, so when my Dallas Stars or Phoenix Coyotes score a goal, I am notified. SPEAKING of NHL, Sirius carries all the NHL games as well. If I happen to be on the road and my Stars or Yotes are playing an early game I can listen in until I get home. The display even carries the score of the game. Not to mention, this will freakin' rock during road trips.

In the words of Crackhead Bob, this is radio is "DODALLY DAWESOME".

If you are considering purchasing satellite radio, I highly recommend Sirius.
