Allow me to introduce myself...

Welcome to Stick and Puck! I am an avid hockey fan, so the name is only fitting. For you non- hockey fans, "stick and puck" is a term often used to describe a game of pick up hockey. Pick up hockey usually has a good mix of skilled and not-so-skilled players. Since I am an amateur blogger, I figured that would be a good way to describe this Blog. I can't guarantee up to date hockey info here, but I can guarantee ramblings and observations of just about everything else I run across.


Well.. Since this is the first post, I would like to shed a little light on myself.

• I am a very, very, very proud registered DEMOCRAT.
• I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world. :-)
• I'm a native Texan
• I currently live in Arizona
• I'm tall- 6'7"
• I am now the proud owner of an MBA in Marketing.
• I don't play basketball
• I am starting to play Golf...(Arizona Golf Courses kick ass!)
• I do play ice hockey..not that well, but I play.
• Yes...there is hockey in Arizona
• I started playing ice hockey 3 years ago.
• My favorite Team is the Dallas Stars and the Phoenix Coyotes are starting to grow on me.
• I'm 31 and I still love Star Wars.
• I enjoy a nice red wine.
• I'm addicted to coffee- that's what happens when you work for Starbucks for 2 years.
• My car is way too small.
• I drove a school bus to suppliment my income while I was in college.
• Yes...I drove the short one too.
• I have 3 AWESEOME dogs....2 Weimaraners ( 1 AND 2 ) and a Boxer
